Dr John Clarke qualified in 1991 from Sheffield Dental Hospital, where he received an award for restorative dentistry. Since then he has worked in general practice and has special interests in cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry.

 

DR SC Sanderson BDS

 

Dr Susie Sanderson qualified in 1975 in Liverpool, collecting the prestigious McLeans Award for Preventive Dentistry in the process. After a time as a house officer, she returned to Sheffield and to join Woodseats Dental Care.

 

She considers herself a generalist, not to mention a perfectionist. Her dedication to the profession extends well beyond working hours; she is Deputy Chairman of the British Dental Association and until recently Chairman of Sheffield Local Dental Committee.

 

Dr CJ Bruce BDS

 

The longest-serving member of our team is Dr Catherine Bruce, who qualified in Sheffield in 1974 and has worked at the practice since 1975. She practices a full range of dentistry and enjoys treating all members of the family.

 

Dr RJ Miles BSc BDS

 

Another team member with a strong commitment to general dental practice is Dr Richard Miles. He qualified in 1978, then worked at the Dental Hospital for six months before going into general practice. He has been a member of Sheffield Local Dental Committee for 21 years.

 

Helen Ferns, Practice Manager.

 

Meet the person who ensures our service to patients is of the same high standard as our dentistry. Helen’s career in dental nursing began in 1979. She joined the practice in 1993 and became Practice Manager ten years later.

 

She is qualified in dental radiography and is currently studying for a BTEC certificate for dental practice managers. Helen is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the practice, but she also has experience of oral surgery and dental implantology.
